My Special Bread

Ingredients
 

1 cup warm water
3 tsp yeast

3 1/2 cups flour
4 Tbsp sugar

1 tsp salt
2  beaten eggs 
2 Tbsp olive oil

 

 

Instructions


1 - Stir together the yeast and the warm water. Set aside until foamy.


2 - In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, and salt together.


3 - Add the oil, the beaten eggs, and the water with the yeast.


4 -  Knead by hand until dough comes together. (Add a little bit of flour if too sticky).


5 - Form a ball and place it in a large bowl. Cover with a cloth and let rise for one hour.


6 - After an hour, punch dough to release gas. Dump dough onto a flat surface and knead for a few minutes. Shape or braid bread and place bread on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, or use the mold of your choice. Cover with a cloth and let rise for 20 minutes.

7 - Preheat oven to 350°F.

 

8 -  Place a small dish or a ramekin filled with water on bottom rack of the oven. Place bread on top rack in the middle of oven.


9 - Bake for about 30-45 minutes.
