About

I was born in Grasse, France, where I lived for 20 years. I married my childhood sweetheart in 2008, and in 2009 we moved to the United States, settling in Minnesota. We spent 12 wonderful years there before following the sunshine to Texas—warmer weather that we truly enjoy.
My husband and I are lucky to share a rich culinary heritage. Both of our Italian fathers were born in North Africa, giving us a beautiful blend of Italian, French, and North African influences. Food is our main love language—sharing it is how we show care, connection, and joy.
I’m naturally a quiet and shy introvert, but I absolutely love hosting and welcoming people into our home. When friends gather around our table, my husband does the talking while I happily get busy in the kitchen (thank goodness for extroverts!).
Cooking for others is always an honor. I pour my whole heart into every dish, because making people feel welcome and cared for means everything to me.
While I enjoy cooking, baking is my true passion. I love improving recipes, experimenting, and playing with textures, colors, and flavors—it feels like magic at my fingertips. And if I get to use my piping bags, even better!
The kitchen has always been part of my life—helping my parents, watching my grandmother cook, or baking cakes with friends after school. As I realized I had a talent for it, my curiosity grew, pushing me to try more recipes and eventually create my own. I’ve also learned so much from my sweet mother-in-law, and every visit turns into a joyful cooking adventure together.
I love a good challenge. If something seems difficult—like macarons or croissants—I need to know if I can master it. I keep trying until I succeed. Sharing complex dishes and desserts with others brings me immense joy.
Of course, I’m not perfect. I fail sometimes—but those moments help me grow and stay humble.
The kitchen is truly my happy place. As I like to say, “Where there is food, there is love.” Cooking and baking are how I spread love around me.
Thank you so much for visiting. I truly hope you enjoy everything you see here.
